Wow

1.47/5? Seriously?
I love the lead dude, best sound. House isn't my favourite genre, but I really like this son, especially the lead it's just awesome. What do you produce with?

mNl responds:

;) Thanks !

"1.47/5? Seriously?" hahaha :D I wish it would be higher as well ;)

I produce with Fruity Loops. Nothing special ;) All "electro-sounds" i used in that track were made with 3xosc.

I will upload an radio edit of a new remix wich is done by me and a friend for an remix-contest,which sounds like this one. :) It's just reworked and sounds much better and fater ! I wil let you know when it's up ;)

Good work

You have all the right ingredients, and for once a song on newgrounds actually follows the genre it was uploaded under. The song is mastered well, but the one qualm I have is that the first lead should be a square and modulated up in pitch, for that really housey sound. In any case this song deserves much more than a 3 especially considering the tripe passed off as music on this website that gets rated 5. So 5/5 from me.

KieranNG responds:

Thanks heaps man.

Really liking the style

You have a really unique style going on with this track, I love it.
From how the bassline and melody are structured structured to the sounds used, I havent heard anything quite like it.

That being said you did it great. Keep it up, I enjoy it.

MattReeves responds:

Thank you so much. I love all this positive feedback! Uniqueness is what I strive for, and this song is definitely one of the more stylish songs I have. Thanks again man.

Thief.

You stole this melody off of me. To prove it I have the original flp,if anyone would like to dispute. I'll be uploading my version right now, just because I can.

Barrellaj responds:

kris, I have already explained to you what I needed to, after my reluctance to credit you, and pretty much over all forgetfulness to do so, I am doing it now

you know I wasn't out to steal your song. and by the way I worked alot more on it, and at this point it's starting to sound nothing your hardtsyle version :P

Way to rip audio from a soundtrack.

For one, the song didn't appeal to me at all, so all my thoughts on it are based purely on the fact I didn't like it. I haven't rated it because people rated it themselves and I don't zero bomb.

My dislike for the song has nothing to do with the fact that you ripped the intro audio from the 28 Days Later soundtrack, the song is named "In the House, Without a Heartbeat" by John Murphy. You know that's against the rules, are you trying to set yourself up for someone to make a "diss" against you or something?

Anyway, didn't like the song. And make your own music, don't steal someone else's.

Naysly responds:

Awww, you're mad? No one stole anything.. buddy.. Learn the copyrights before you open your (obviously uneducated ) mouth. So, so, so many fail trolls on this site. I understand your anger, I mean hey! if I were you, I would be mad, too. Though, to actually come here on a good song and hate , because you "Didn't like it" is just troll-ish. If you didn't like it you should of just left. It's whatever, though. you're a child. I understand your impulse to act-out.

You're forgiven.

Sweet!

I really like this man, but tbh the lead before the uplifting synth sounded a tad bland, but when the uplifting synth kicked in it sounded amazing. Great work man :D

5/5.

Mans0n responds:

thank you XD

Great work!

I loved it, the bouncy melody that comes in at 1:29 is perfect!
And the low pass fade in at 2:27 is very euphoric.

2 Thumbs up :D

5/5, 10/10

SessileNomad responds:

if only my trakcs could be as high up on the trance chart as your is xD

Not bad.

The intro was nice for goa, but the rest wasn't really goa. Didn't hold this back from being an alright song though :D

I like the melody, if it was a bit more complex it would be very win.

Mich responds:

I do realize it's not goa at all, don't worry.
I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Not too bad

The side-chaining on the lead hurts my ears a little, though.

I like the melody, but not so much the structure of the song or the random kicks.

Add a real bassline and some 4/4 kicks and it will vastly improve.

DJRouch responds:

I agree, the melodie will come out a bit to hard when there's no kicks or claps.
I'm going to fade it a little in that parts.
I've tried the 4/4 kicks, but it came out a little dull.
So I'm working on a other kind of bassline, maybe with lower and higher kicks to get a more exciting effect.
Thanks for the review.

Needs a bit of work.

I really like melody, but for lack of a proper bassline and decent instruments, the overall mastering of the song weighs it down.

I didn't like the "reverbish" sound that made the kick sound like it doubles itself.

The kick itself also left a lot to be desired.

I think with better instruments, a proper bassline and a decent kick, this song could be a lot better.

That being said, the melody is really good.

dj-Jo responds:

Well, it is hard trance after all.
Check out Colors of excitement, maybe that will make your day.
I'll be sure to watch my effects I use, I wasn't that happy with that either.
oh well.

Thanks for the review!
